Minimal porositet för att främja hygien

En av de mest utmanande aspekterna i en hotellgästs erfarenhet är badrummet, ett intimt personligt utrymme för att fräscha upp sig där renlighet och hygien måste prioriteras. Detta var ett av de projektkrav som Silestone löste tack vare sin minskade porositet, vilket gjorde rengörings- och desinficeringsprocessen av en mycket använd yta som handfatet lättare.

Botrygg AB syftade till att skapa funktionella och motståndskraftiga utrymmen på ett elegant sätt. Silestone i Negro Tebas, med en polerad yta, ger hela badrummet en unik känsla av kreativitet, genom att erbjuda en rad kontraster i en miljö där färger som är mycket lika varandra brukar kombineras.

Ett flera hundra år gammalt hotell anammar moderna tider

I augusti 2019 påbörjades återställandet av First Hotel Reisen i Stockholm. Förutom uppfräschningen av de gemensamma utrymmena, omfattade projektet även en modernisering av de 140 sovrummen och de tillhörande badrummen. Att modernisera interiören i detta 1600-talshotell, utan att göra minsta påverkan på dess klassiska atmosfär och stil, var en stor utmaning. Eye Interior och Multi Montage var de viktigaste aktörerna i detta enorma jobb, och de tog hjälp av betrodda partners som Silestone by Cosentino som försåg alla badrum med bänkskivor.

First Hotel Reisen är strategiskt beläget i centrala Stockholm, med utsikt över Mälaren och Gamla stan, bara ett stenkast från Kungliga slottet. Hotellet är ett slags tidskapsel: Sju olika byggnader daterade från 1600-talet till början av 1900-talet har omvandlats till ett enda hotell. Det är uppkallat efter sin första ägare, den holländska affärsmannen Fredrik Reiss som 1750 öppnade kaffehuset Reisen där hotellet är beläget idag.

Decorated with highest attention to details, Hilton Resort & SPA represents a perfect place for those who enjoy a moment of relaxation while surrounded by art and world class design. In order to ensure a feeling of luxury and highest quality, multiple surfaces in the hotel have been embellished by Silestone by Cosentino quartz conglomerate in one of its most elegant patterns – Eternal Calacatta Gold. Almost 700 m2 have been covered with this material, which, used in a wide variety of applications and combined with graceful textures and warm tones of wood, created a blend of ultra-stylish interiors across the entire building.
