Mountains forged by stretching thin panels. 80 sheets of 5mm polystyrene are lasered-cut and stretched into a set of partitions shaped like mountains, and arranged to create a landscape of snow-capped mountain ranges in the space. To minimize the exhibition’s environmental impact, the polystyrene sheets are stretched on site so that only one truck of delivery is needed. Also, the sheets can be flattened for clearing from the site and recycled.
