How building works look from above.

An artificial landscape made of scaffolds, insulation and concrete, is the result of a long term project which followed closely Renzo Piano´s Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center building works in Athens. The author, Yiorgis Yerolymbos, presents in the book Ortographs an abstract view of a discipline usually observed from ground level. If you are willing to hang from a crane with just a harness to protect you, you can enjoy too large-scale compositions like these. Legions of people, tons of machinery and ten years of works give us beautiful images only seen from above.
