Binhai´s Public Library
MVRDV
Tianjin, China
Parametric design has enabled this library to hold 1.2 million books in just one space, where curved shelves will lead us into a vicious circle from which we won´t want to scape.

A work of the Dutch firm MVRDV in collaboration with the local  office TUPDI, this 33,700-square-meter library opened recently in the Binhai district of Tianjin, a coastal municipality in western China, three years after the first drawing was made.
