Safety and stability in Special Solutions by Dekton
Thanks to its thermal conductivity, Dekton can be used with underfloor heating. Its mechanical properties also make it possible to use on raised floors.
With its 2cm-thickness, Dekton provides an option for pedestrian floors to provide registrable or raised floors where installations can be hidden underneath the material. Dekton is used with mesh in these cases to always ensure user safety.
Radiant underfloor heating
When it comes to Dekton, thermal conductivity is better than with traditional products used with underfloor heating, such as wood or linoleum, allowing improved heat transfer. Unlike these materials, the expansion is smaller and dimensional stability facilitates a perfect assembly leaving a joint of only 2 mm, no matter the format used. No “dips” are produced as time passes.
