DeKauri
Dekton, Cosentino
Orlando, Florida
Cosentino, Riva 1920, and the prestigious architect Daniel Germani have presented DeKauri at the 2018 KBIS.

DeKauri, a freestanding bathroom vanity crafted from 50,000-year-old Kauri wood exclusive to Riva 1920 and inspired in the traditional Italian credenza, whose beauty and functionality it brings into the bathing space. With a washbasin crafted from ultracompact Dekton® by Cosentino and Kauri wood used for the actual credenza, Daniel Germani pays tribute to the strength and resilience of Mother Nature: the technology behind Dekton® captures the beauty of natural stone with unparalled durability, and the Kauri wood – extracted from New Zealand, where it has been buried under mud and water for thousands of years – adds an exotic feel to the final piece. DeKauri can also be made with walnut, wengué, or cedar wood. After its introduction and launch at the 2018 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Orlando, Florida, DeKauri will be shown in April at the Grupo Cosentino stand at the Milan Furniture Fair.
